However, both now play only ODIs, and with the next major ODI tournament — the World Cup — two years away, even Kohli and Rohit need to prove themselves yet again to keep getting selected until the marquee event. The start to that campaign was poor, as Kohli was out for 0 while Rohit was dismissed for 8 in the first ODI, a rain-curtailed match. Will the second ODI in Adelaide be affected by rain too?
